Call your local Macy's and ask.. They will probably say that you can return it and recieve a gift card for Macy's back not money. As well if the it was given to you as a gift not on sale and now its on sale then without a reciept you will most likely get a gift card for the amount it is on sale for.

your much less probable which you will no longer get a refund considering the fact which you have no longer have been given your receipt in spite of the undeniable fact which you would be able to bypass on line and spot you all your invoice and print off your economic company statements then see a bought the fee of the object and tutor it to team at Macy's and spot what they say

If it has the tags and is unopened they should give you store credit for the lowest amount the gift ever sold for.

I think it may be possible, usually they just give you the money back that is the current selling price for it.
I would call Macy's just to be sure though.

Depends of what it is, if it has tags on and unopened. Tell them it was a gift and they might give you credit.
