Earlier today I spilled my cup of coffee on the keybaord of my home laptop. After a few seconds, its shut off...and now it won't do a thing. Is there anything I can do?

it MIGHT be able to work later on after all of the coffee dries

MIGHT

is the key word.

The more likely answer is that you'll need to buy a new laptop and a coffe cup that comes with a lid

There is still more to it. You can unscrew the laptop clean and dry it off. Or not just get a knowledgeable guys to help you with it if you're scared.

But in the mean time get something money ready for another lappy.

But you may be lucky if the board is coated it may still be useful.

Ciao

The coffee is probably all over the motherboard. There's not much chance of fixing it if it won't turn on.

You could try drying it off, and then seeing if it'll start again. Otherwise its probably gone.
