There is no doubt that Nostradamus had an inkling that certain events were to happen at a point far into the future. His predictions would need full scientific evaluation - obviously anybody can say this or that will happen at a given time (within 10 years or so either side), but many of his sayings were too vague and open to interpretation. Compare what he said with that found in the Book of Revelation at the end of the Bible - many people seek after signs, but in doing so miss the obvious.

He may or may not therefore be right - see Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle

This is really like the 'what came first' thing. Yes Nostradamus could have written some stuff that now appears to coincide with world events. However, on the other hand, whats not to say that the world 'plays' on Nostradamus' work and creates events and tradegies to fit his writing?

No, I don't beleive what he wrote has happened. In hindsight anything can be shoehorned into his prophesies to fit a particular definition, it's all a question of point of view. The end of the world was supposed to happen 7 years ago, so unless I missed a meeting... erm... still here.

I believe he believed what he wrote, but it's all mumbo jumbo, and the predictions can be applied to anything. After an event, people put interpretations on his writings, but it's a different matter trying to find someone to take one of his quatrains before an event and warn us.

no, because his so-called prophecies are so worded that they can be seen to apply to just about anything happening in the world and the planet as a whole. I give more credance to the wackos who state a definite event to a definite time even when they get it wrong as they invariably do but at least they were direct and not arty farty, airy fairy and ambiguous with their words.

I really have not read or be bothered to read all the information, but there seems to be something there though, pity its all in code and the answers come out after the occurrence of a disaster.

His predictions were very vague. People were using them to pigeon hole all sorts of things that have happened through the ages.
