I use the paper covers. Why on earth would you try to hold yourself in mid-air?

When I was in an airport restroom recently, they had paper covers that actually encircled the seat, and came out from the wall. You pressed a button and it sucked the used section off and pulled a clean section out. That was strange, but pretty cool.

(I assume we're talking public toilets here).

Depends on the location of the toilet. If I am traveling and have to stop at one of those rest areas, I usually hover. If I am at work and they provide seat covers I get one and sit down to pee. If not I usually hover. If I am at friends, family, etc. I usually sit down to pee because I know its been cleaned and sanitized. It's the last thing I won't to get down there is a infection from a toilet.

I check the seat and if it's not clean I go to other stalls untill I find a clean one, if I don't find one I get toilet paper and wet it and clean the seat. Never hover, that's gross. I sit, pee, wipe with toilet paper, make sure I am 100% dry then get up and pull pants up and wash hands, if I am home I sit, pee, wipe with toilet paper then with a baby wipe. Much cleaner!

If I'm at home or a friend's house I just sit. In public restrooms, if there are seat covers available I will use them, if not I "hover".... If I'm too tired/lazy though, sometimes I'll just sit on it. In theory only my legs touch the toilet anyway.

At home i sit. In public i use toilet paper to cover the seat if my clothes won't let me 'hover' properly.

Neither. I sit ON THE SEAT. What's so wrong with that? The tissue thing is annoying, and hovering just gets pee on the seat, so that the next person has to wipe it off before using it. Yuck.

Whenever I am faced with using a public facility I usually squat over the seat. And for those of you who pee on the seat and don't wipe, I hope you fall in! Just because I'm not sitting on it doesn't mean I want to see it. How gross, would you be that nasty at home?

Funny question...I hover when using public restrooms. Or if there seat covers, I use them. Besides, hovering gives your thighs and calves a good work out! = )
