it would be hard to, but i like to think the word "friend" is powerful enough by itself to define those close to me :)

It would be difficult..... but I think the idea is to see how well we all know one another. Rarely will the word fit. But out there are a few that know us like no others. And their word.. well, it usually seems to epitomize who we are. It's interesting to see who does know us. If all words did..... if it were easy.... it would mean very little. The fact that it is such an oddity.... that's what makes it precious.

I agree that 'friend' is a good word to sum up someone close to you.. however if you can define someone in just one word I think it suggests that there isnt that much to say about them!

If I know the person very very well, then yes, I can probably describe them in one word

I can't define anything at all with just one word. I am too descriptive.

I think it's possible, but for me there would always be something to add. For instance, I could describe my best friend as amazing, but to me that may mean something else than it would for another person. For someone I don't know well, it would be harder I suppose.
