Lovely, posh, lots of history, relatively expensive. I'd still like to visit it sometime.

I've never been to London, but I'm planning on going.. I've heard it's nice. However I've also heard that it can get "brutal" what ever that means. I saw this video on the internet were two guys stabbed another two for no reason whatsoever, one died the other was wounded. In London.

I've not been, but friends always have a good time when they go.

As a kid growing up in a small west coast logging town, I was a bit of an unexpected anglophile. It seems that in all of my reading I found that in Londen there are a great many places to get curry, most of which Englishmen think are dreadful.

London is a big city, and there are alot of things that a big city has to offer that I wouldn't mind seeing. It is all a matter of $$$.

i love it! Soho, Piccadilly/Oxford Circus, Trafalgar Square, Convent Garden, and The Tate Gallery was all sooo fun to visit!
On the other hand...like all major cities...it was dirty. Lots of smog, the Thames River looked gross and don't get me started about taking the Tube.
Overall, I would go back though...it's a wonderful city!

I think it's classic, but modern. I would love to go and study abroad near by there or get a flat there. What do the English think about Chicago?

*shrug* Don't really know, since I've never been there. But it'd sure be fun to mess around with one of those Buckingham Palace guards... hee hee. >:-D

I've heard the weather is often bad there. But it would be an interesting place, for sure.

It is a big cosmopolitan city. You may feel somewhere between Europe and America. However, you may enjoy more if you behave more like a Canadian, Australian or Newzilander (they say).
