sorry thats not very clear. my scan was at 5weeks and one day when the told me could be a unviable pregnancy.
i am now 14.6 days pregnant and heard my babys heartbeat last night at home 152 beats per minute. the reson i dnt want another ultrasound as they allways turn out bad i lost my daugfhter at 20 weeks on the 14th august 06 because a radioligist said that my baby had a 5.2 skin fold so i had a amnio as adviced results were perfectly normal scan was wrong as usuall and lost baby 7 days later after a 8 hour labour and a beautiful wee breathing girl. well for 26mins due 2 infection from the needle from amnio.
now can you understand why i am not wanting a scanl.

i experienced the same at first ultrasound @ 9 week. pregnancy measured 5.5 weeks and had normal hcg blood levels.i did continue to grow although the pregnancy had not developed. have the radiologist give you another ultrasound. did you hear the heart beat in the Dr's. office?

what a coincidence- i had an ultrasound on Aug. 15th 06 when the ultrasound showed a non viable pregnancy- and i am also terrified every time i go to the Dr's. because i am fearing the same to happen. i am so sorry for your loss- i would feel content with hearing the strong heart beat :) mine measured 151 at 12 weeks and i thought it sounded slow.but, again, i am paranoid-

I am a little confused, did you mean 14 weeks pregnant? If you heard the baby's heartbeat, was this in an office or at home? If I were you I would go in and have an ultrasound. The radiologist could have very well be wrong, it is not unknown, she could have been new at her job, or any number of things. It is a scary thing how often Dr's actually make mistakes sometimes. But I would get the heartbeat verified by either your midwife or a dr.

i've also had scan scare, when i was 8 weeks i had first scan and they said they could only see a sack, they said they thought i had got my dates mixed up as i was under 5 weeks pregnant, i then went for a further scan 7 weeks later and they told me i was 15 weeks pregnant so i was in fact 8 weeks pregnant on the first scan like i thought! now 30 weeks and can't wait!!
