musicwise, it was great (the underground stuff), not as good as 05 though.

Since you categorized this under "Music" I'll answer in music terms.
Just like with other songs from this decade there's no talent in today's music. Effort in songwriting is ignored or completely forgotten and technicality is gone as well. Sure, we may have some talented musicians in these days but they can't back that up with good music to help it expand.
Just listen to modern songs on something like your radio. Your local modern radio station, a satellite radio, whatever you have. Take a minute and think about what goes into that music and what comes out as a result. Did you think the song took a long time to write? Was there a lot of diversity and creativity in the song? These days more and more "no" answers are coming up to these questions. This year and the past couple of years have been rather disapointing in musical output as we progress into blander and blander territory.
What we really need is someone to go out there and say "You know what? Who needs these books on how to play guitar or this platinum pop queen to teach me how to sing? I'll learn it all on my own." Besides, learning from others is carrying on the same old things and not being creative is one of the worst downfalls you can come across today. If someone were to just completely reinvent music the world would be a much better place in the sub-world we know as music.

It was the most unstable year of my life!!!! EVERYBODY I care about suffered and was happy in equal degrees of intensity. If I could live this year again, I guess everything will go almost the same because all major issues I had to face did not depend on me. I did gain life experience however. The most important thing: I do know for sure that I love my bf more than he will never know and that if anything happens to my family or my friends, my heart will die with them piece be piece. There is nothing more painful than that.

I hated '06, and the music, uh, sucked, yeah, sorry, but there's only like 3 songs from this year that I really liked. '05 was much better

I didnt like 2006 But I will definately look forward to 07..Bjork will have a new album out in March so im anxious...

4 deaths in 2006 made it hard for me, but it was also good that I got my temps and went to homecoming.
