All the names are Russian/Slavic in origin. Natasha is the endearing form of Natalia and Tanya is the endearing form of Tatyana.

Natasha is Russian, as I think is Tanya. Certainly European.

i think natasha's russian, and i don't think tanya's american but i don't know where it's from (i think it MIGHT be russian as well?). i've never even heard of tonya, though.
