This sounds normal. everyone is different. i was sick everyday all day for the entire first trimester. my professor's wife was extremely sick during the whole pregnancy.

i also had cramps so bad that i was sure i was bleeding and i would run to the bathroom every 15 min. to make sure i wasn't. but everything was alright.

don't worry yourself and talk to your OB about it at your appt.

Even though you will not want to hear this...I have had horrible all day sickness...throwing up sometimes 4 times a day...and I'm 28 weeks along! I tried phenergan which made me more sick, but it makes a lot of pregnant women better and b6 vitamins which have helped. I drink Boost and Ensure to make sure I'm getting my vitamins and I take my prenatal at night when I'm the least sick. If you can, don't throw up...wait the nausea out. My doctor told me to try sitting up straight for 30 minutes and then laying on my right side after I eat to help the digesting process move along. You can also take tums to help soothe the acid. If you still throw up, don't worry about the baby. The baby will take what it needs from you. And you eventually get used to the sickness, really.
As far as the cramps...it depends on how far along you are...it's probably round ligament pains from your uterus stretching...I passed out one morning around my 17th week from the pain being so bad and I like to think that I'm "tough". Try to relax. I hope you start feeling better! Good Luck!

I unfortunatlyy had hyperemessis my entire preg. with BOTH my children I constantly threw up the bile in my stomach it was terrible the only thing that helped me was zofran 3/day. I've tried EVERYTIHNG else nothing worked. But if your not acutally throwing up you could try a number of tihngs. a B-6 vitamin with a sleep aid. Don't try and eat to much and don't drink cold fulids it will upset your stomach more drink room temp. stuff and tiny tiny sips of it. Don't get out of bed until you've ha a luittle something like toast, crackers, white soda something to eat but very little not to much. You can also try lemon water some people say it works but I don't know. Don't forget that it will likely go away after your first trimester which can seem like a lifetime from now since your sick but it will VERY likely go away and it's normal to lose weight the first trimester so don't get to worried over that. Also try and remember your baby doesn't need much at this point and that this isn't hurting your baby at all right now if it continues I'd see your dr.a dn talk to him about it because
Some women need medication to fend off nausea and vomiting. Medications that may help include doxylamine with or without pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and a number of stronger antinausea medications that can be given rectally, orally, or through an IV line. These include phenergan (promethazine), compazine, haloperidol, and even thorazine. Newer antinausea drugs like ondansetron (zofran) were designed for cancer patients, but also work for pregnant women. They are expensive, but may work if other medications fail. Vitamin B6 alone works for some women. Interestingly, so-called "alternative" therapies have been studied and may also help relieve nausea. These include ginger and acupressure at the P6 point. Both of these therapies require (and deserve) further investigation with larger numbers of patients before health care providers will feel comfortable prescribing them as mainstays of treatment.

For a start you shouldn't be making yourself vomit that is dangerous for you and the baby the vile from the acids in you stomach can cause damage permantly to the baby...I had morning sickness 24 hours a day for the whole pregnacy along with the runs, I lost over 30 kilos.

Don't make yourself sick the pains are probley from doing that, keep up your fluids don't force yourself to be sick as that is soooo wrong to you and the baby, eat crackers before you get out of bed of a morning nothign on them just dry crackers or try soem ginger that helps with nausea, but chekc with your doctor that there is nothing more seriously wrong.

The cramps aren't normal. Unfortunately the morning sickness probably is. If you take extra B-6 daily, that can help. Also, try to never let yourself get hungry - the stomach acids churning make it worse. See your OBGYN for the cramps.

I puked from the time i was 2 months until the day i had my son. I puked morning, noon and night and all in between, the doctor gave me phenergan but it didn't help me. Some people just have it worse than others.

Morning sickness is a good sign... means horomones are up.
But the cramps I would worry about (if they are bad) it might be a ectopic PGcy, you might want to go in & have an US. how far along are you?

Mylanta is ok while PG

I think it is very normal, remember every woman, baby and pregnancy is different.

I had BAD morning sickness morning, noon and night for the first 5 months.
just be sure to drink lots of water to keep hydrated.

and eat what you can stomach, for me it was cheese sandwiches. the saltine crackers they tell you to eat did nothing for me.

also-I lived on sour candy. (sour is supposed to make the sickness subside) I literally craved the sour jolly ranchers

good luck--that was just the absolute worst for me
