I'm a virgin and I felt it best to stay that way til I got High School out of the way but now that i'm in college I've been talking and had a few dates with a guy who I really like and have so much fun with but he is far more experianced than me. He knows I'm a virgin but I really don't want (mainly for myself) to seem like a complete clutz but I don't want to leave everything on him. Are there any good books or websites on sex that can give me a little help?

The book, "The Joy Of Sex" is a terrific introduction to various practices and how they can enhance a couple's sex life.

First of all, I commend you on saving yourself. However, sex is a lot different than it used to be. As far as books and websites are concerned, it depends on what kind of sex you are talking about having. I know it sounds funny, but it's true. If you want to get your freak on, then I recommend websites that cater to that kind of sex. If you have a particular person(which it sounds like you do) that you want to make love to, then you need to research sources that help you in that area. I'm married and I go to a website called www.lovingyou.com. It's for all types of relationships, and it's basically a onestop shop for all things that pertain to romance and lovemaking. I also recommend the kama sutra game (you can get it at Spencer's). My husband and I thought it was a freaky type game, but it really focuses on intimacy. I hope this helps. One other word of advice. You may want to ask yourself a couple of times if this is DEFINATELY the person worth putting all of this effort into. Good luck.

Congratulations on surviving the pressure to have sex in high school. I applaud you. I wish more kids would do the same. There are plenty of instruction manuals to learn about sex. The best way is to find someone you care about, such as this guy, and let him slowly teach you. Dont be afraid to tell him how you feel. Good luck.

If you have waited this long, you should wait until you're in love in my opinion. Here is the reason why. So many girls "hold out" all through high school feeling like they are doing some "noble" thing, only to go to college and become sluts and get STDs. Why ruin something that is so unique these days. Plus, when you do find the man you love, there is no bigger turn-on than to know he is your only lover.

"Our Bodies Ourselves" is the best book in the world. We had it in High School and the updated version in college. Buy it at Borders or another bookstore. An ex stole mine a long time ago. Must be a good book , huh.

If you are not ready. Wait till you are. That's a GOOD THING.

Just let everything fall into place....really. Sex with every person is different. You can't read how to do it in books. He might like one thing but not another. Just go for it and have fun with him but be safe.

Just go for it, sex isnt like a sport, no one mocks if you arent good at it. Just have fun and find out what you both like, no book will tell you that. Enjoy.
