The U.S. doesn't have time to meddle in EVERYTHING, there's just not enough time in the typical political work day. I give the Iraqis full credit for this one.

If the U.S. were REALLY that involved there would have been court delays well beyond what we saw here, and a decade long death row waiting period.

I bet even George W himself was impressed by how fast the Iraqis set up the execution. We could never do anything that fast here.

Blame on!

Don't let that bother you. Everyone blames the guy on top for whatever takes place. I wouldn't be surprised to hear someone say that President Bush was responsible for the San Francisco Earthquake or anything else that makes no sense.

When you are on top, expect to also be blamed for things that you know are stupid, that's the way the game is played.

Because the Iraquis that tried and executed Saddam were manipulated and given their jobs by the American Government. Iraqui men, pupeteered by Americans. Now the best oil in the world can be used by the U.S. to continue feeling like they are the masters of the universe second only to God. That's why.
I wonder what Osama Bin Laden is up to now... I wonder if Mr. Bush still gives a damn about him... especially now that he's served his purpose as the excuse to invade the Middle East... (By the way, did you know that the entire world, including the middle east, only has up to 15 years left of oil supplies?)

Who cares. All other countries are haters. We are just scapegoats for saddams death. What we need to do is level the damn middle east and turn it into a parking lot. Forget about their people. Remember Sept 11. The towel heads didn't care.

It has become the thing to do is blame the US for all the worlds problems. Yet when anyone is in trouble we are the first to show up to help.

Comes with being the good guy.

could any of it have happened... if the U.S. hadn't took action... of course not... so it's clearly a product of the U.S. action...

but it just wasn't the U.S. that directly tried and hung him...

it's like wondering who was responsible for Jesus' death... the Romans or the Jews?

both, at the very least, played their part...

and I'm not comparing Jesus to Saddam in any way mind you...

Saddam was clearly a monster... and if anyone ever deserves to die... he has to be one of them...

The americans have been pulling the strings. Don't you believe that it was the iraqis who tried and killed Saddam. The sunis will avenge Saddam's death.

They can't accept the facts. People always needs something to hate on the government. It gives people hollow ammo to throw at the Bush Adm.

Iraqi chickenhawks executed him. Bushwhackoffs can get all touchy-feely about this pre-owned Iraqi democracy, but the Baghdad Beltway isn't defending itself very effectively or courageously.

Because America is the #1 superpower and fights the worlds battles. They are jealous of our freedoms and democracy. Plus, liberals are total hypocrites.
