Yesterday, I was making something out of clay, for a friend. Now, I had absolutly no intention of creating any deity images that day. But, both of them just sort of happened. I was trying to do something totally different, but I ended up with some statuary. Now I'm searching for who I could have possibly sculpted. The god image seems really primative in nature. It's really a bunch of lines, made to look like a face. It sort of reminds me of one of those tribal type masks, with a huge forhead, and the like, but it's flat. The eyes are horizontal too. Who could this be, and why on earth was I so inspired to create his image?

It sounds like a local earth spirit, especially since you scuplted him from clay. Consider leaving a loaf of bread or a bowl of salt out for him to sample, as a sign of goodwill and friendship.

(And ignore the monotheists who are being dismissive.)

Isn't it great, when you're creating something and it feels like channeling? I'm afraid I can't make a guess on the god just by your description (and even if I saw it, I might not), but you could flip through a few books at the library (like the illustration-heavy versions of Joseph Campbell's work--he's a comparative mythologist), or even do an online "image" search of "god" -- maybe qualify it with "African god" and "Mayan god" etc. until you find the style that looks closest. Good luck!

That is image of someone in your imagination.
Your imagination can be in communication with other unseen universe having that thing.
You did not create it. But you copied what you have seen by your imagination.
What you have is a special ability given to a few people.

Have you thought that maybe they are not gods, but merely designs you created? One theory. If it looks like a tribal mask, then maybe going into research on tribal gods would help?

Doesn't sound like any deity. Sounds like an alien. Or simply a ceremonial mask used in a religious context to symbolize something regarded as holy and sanctified.

Skills, talent, and love for what you are doing. Take it for what it's worth and go to school and persue your gifts. It isn't a God, there's only one God.

There is no "deep" meaning to this. you were just being creative and made a statue. Doesn't make it a "god"
