don't take any kind of cold medicine without talking to your doctor. my guess is that it's not.

Probably not enough would be in your milk to hurt the baby, but the problem with cold medicines is that their purpose is to "dry you out" so you have to be careful how much you take or they can dry up your milk, especially if you are already having any supply issues. If I have a cold, I wait until I just can't stand it anymore and then take a half dose of DayQuil. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I don't think the multi-symptom cold formulas like this are very good to take. I know it's okay to take Benadryl for runny nose and sneezing, or Tylenol for pain, but I'm not sure the rest of the ingredients would be okay since most medicines are passed onto the baby in certain amounts through breast-milk. Call your Pediatrician to find out for sure.
