Where can I meet women on the net without all the nasty or scams?

Keep dreamin'. The net can be worse than looking for a decent partner than looking around in your real world. You're just much easier to access on the net. And god knows, freaks and nasties are plenty and can drop you a line anytime they like on the wonderful web. MySpace is a joke. Just sign up and find out. Just screen your contacts better. You'll never see someone's true colors unless you meet them, anyway. No one's immune from the slimeballs of the world.

http://www.myspace.com then set up a home page and click on browse and go through all the ladies and click on their picture and browse there homepage and if it sounds good leave a message by clicking on Message. Ask them to write back.
Fill out a profile so they know who they are talking to. Some are kids doing wierd stuff but most are adults just looking for someone to talk to. Say, even if your in the hospital you can get a laptop and talk to people on myspace. There is 20,000 disabled vets out there trying to get better wanting women to talk to. That is a good place to start. Women talking home courses on the computer like to talk to men. Anyway I haven't had any problems getting ones. But I like to answer questions.

I wouldn't know where to even look for a descent guy on here. I think, however, it may be easier for a man to find a good woman on here than a woman finding a good man because of the surplus of perverts and liars on here. Good luck . Oh, maybe try a Yahoo group.
