Since the video of Saddam's execution cuts off before his actual death, how do we know he is really dead?

Could the media be lying to the world? or could their be a conspiracy from with in the iraqi government to keep him alive?

You can watch the video up to the point where he is hanged. They suddenly stop recording at that point. The video is clear and you can see him and the executioners in great detail.

They record again after the body is removed from the gallows. The video is poor quality and you cannot tell if it really is him or not. His face is covered with a cloth except for his nose and parts of his eyes.

Why did they stop the video before the actual execution when they had declared they would show it on TV?

Why is video so poor after he is removed from the gallows?

Why is so much of his face covered that you cannot see him well enough to identify him on TV?

What are the chances that is was really one of his look-alikes who was executed - one who was willing to sacrifice himself for his beliefs?

Someone as rich as Saddam would have easily made a deal with the government to "look the other way" as he left the country in exchange for all his wealth being left behind.

You have a reasonable question there, and the answer lies in the fact the authorities (and possibly the media) wanted to spare the public at large -- gruesome pictures. Plus the fact that westerners are not accustomed to that type of horrible pictures. We and you should take their word for it -- and stop
the speculation and believe that he is "100 per
cent dead". Let's not go back to the theory that he might still be alive and will make a come back...No way.

that's a disaster. issues have been already undesirable because of the fact of sanctions, and because we assisted Saddam to stay in capability and to attack Iran; now issues are worse, and likely gets worse nevertheless, no count if we are residing there or no longer. No-you may nevertheless administration the situation, which includes no longer Iran and Syria, and no one knows what the effect would be - which it exceptionally frightening for anybody in the area, and for every person that's traumatic approximately jihadists getting a real capability base. My heart is going out to the suffering human beings of Iraq, who did no longer something to deliver this on themselves (different than for sh!ts like Saddam of direction).

I don't think he's dead! He's a very powerful man and for him to be killed would be big trouble for those responsible! Remember all the people who have put him in power are still alive!! They never forget!!! That's why we are still fighting them now!! Look at all those people who are judging him now! They were killed or their families were killed!!

you want to know that he is really dead? i found the site with the full-length video of his execution. i do warn you though that though you may be yearning to see it (as i was, in a way i guess) after watching it you feel a little...i dont know...i dont know how to describe how i feel right now, after seeing it. but here it is.
