I recently got a dresser with mirror. It came with tape on the mirror, shaped like an X. I removed the tape, but still have some glue left behind. I tried plain windex and it did not work. Any suggestions that will not ruin glass??

All good suggestions.

Also try a hairdryer held on the glue for a few minutes it will often soften and be easy to get rid of it.

Good luck.

Use "WD 40 spray lubricant" or any houshold oil (in case you have not have been given any motor oil or WD 40 and so on., try PAM cooking spray or veggie oil and so on. it somewhat is slower, yet nevertheless works) to get rid of the adhesive and any bits of sticky paper (works nicely with previous rag yet you ought to use a paper towel) then use window cleanser, ammonia or a mix of cidar vinegar & water to get rid of the streaky oil smudges.

which ever method you chose to try, be careful not to get it on the dresser. i would go with the Goo Gone, it's mostly citrus oil. the safety razor will help, too. good luck!
