Why do people make stupid rumours like Saddam Hussein isnt dead? Why would they even joke about that? Or why do people make rumours about celebrities, or other people? Do you beleive in rumours right away? Or have you ever started one? Ive had one about me and everyone was asking me about it but it was obviously not true.

It's harmless drivel that makes for interesting conversation at the water-cooler when the subject is a celebrity. It's malicious spite when the subject is someone you are acquainted with.

Its a fun activity for people who need a life. Some people like to see others scurry around passing the rumor. It's called entertainment. Rumors can be very hurtful.

I think because either 1) theyre ignorant like the saddam hussein crap or 2) because talking about other people bad makes themselves feel better about themselves. my friend and i got in a nasty fight once and she told people mean things about me but they didn't believe it because i have a way better reputation then she does lol

because they are immature and trying to get attention. Usually I don't believe in rumors until I talk to the person involved...I can't lie I started some when I was younger and I'm sorry someone stated one about you they can be so hurt full

I think they do it so drama can be started, its a really ugly thing. Its bad enough that you in it but to steer it up thats a nother thing. you won't be happy until you get knock out

yaa.. ive started rumors.. ive been in rumors.. my friends have been in rumors.. some of them are true and some are not.. i think rumors at skewl make everyone have something to talkk about just lyk drama. sometimes its funn and other times it can be hurtful and totally wrong. you nvr know.. ?

i have had so many about me, but i have never started one before..i think people like starting things for attention.. like "hannah's going out with ricky" or "spencer has a "secret" crush on hannah, ricky found out and now hes dead" i think they just want PLAIN ATTENTION

i think people make rumours about somebody 'cause their jealous of that somebody. and so, to make them feel good they would make rumours.
