Should I play covers, originals or both. I can play 4 songs. If covers which ones should I play. My repertoire is very wide.

you should play both. open the act with a cover then play a couple of your original songs ( make sure to play the your catchy tunes, so that the audience would remember them) and close it with a cover.. if you're going to play some cover songs, play similar music to your original songs that you would play during the opening act, for you to establish what kind of genre you are in... and as i have said, that would make the audience remember you...
GOOD LUCK!!!

Play a bandits of the acoustic revolution song. If the crowd is full of ska kids, they will eat it up and love you forever. Also play mostly you're own stuff. Writting music takes a lot more talent than covering it does, and people will appreciate the talent.

Oh, I have seen two solo accoustic guys, do three originals, and one cover. And just so people will remeber you, tell stories about the originals or why you are going to use the cover!
