I need to find a heart doppler for babies. I went to walmart and got one but it says it doesn't really work until your third trimester. I'm at the start of my second. I used it anyway and didn't hear anything. It really scared me... Anyone know where I could buy or rent one ?? Thanks.

I bought mine on amazon.com. A bebe BT-200. It was $115, but i could hear the baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks! Plus, you can always resell it on ebay after the baby is born. I love having it. It's reassuring to be able to listen to the heartbeat whenever I feel like something might be wrong. At first I listened like every other day, but now it's like once a week or so. I am 20 weeks and the one from wal mart works for me. Ok this is what I have to do.... Turn off everything tvs,fans,etc anything that makes noise. And no one can be talking or making any noise. Only when that happens I can finally use it and hear her moving and her heart beat. But the machine can only be turned half why up. Its really picky. Good luck

You will have to wait until your third trimester. Do not be upset, and stop doing this, your only making yourself worry for no reason and that stress hurts the unborn baby.

yea-doctors have very sensitive ones.
the ones you buy at the stores wont work before the 3rd trimester--if you do pick something up with one, it's just your heartbeat.
