If your computer has a "mic in" jack. If the plug on your mic is too big or too small you can use an adapter.

Yep, it should work. If not, you need a preamplifier.
But it's not such a good idea... There are diffrent plugs, and you will end up wit an 3 inch plug if you use an adaptor... also, it it uses phantom power....
Btw, if it uses an Yamaha jack(the one with three pins), you can find adaptors for that, too.
