I think that the death of every single one of these people had a great impact on the world. If I had to choose who had the most impact, for me it would come down to Gerald Ford and Saddam.

I don't know much about James Brown and what he did, which I guess doesn't really make this fair. But
i do know from all the suppoters he had at his funeral that he was a great person and that he had a great imapct on the world of music. But both Saddam and Gerald Ford were big political figures in the world, and the truth is that politics have a greater imapct on the world these days. Gerald Ford had a great impact on the world and the history of our country. He led the U.S. out of hard times and was a good person which is why he will be so missed and why his death is so difficult for the country.

In my opinion, Saddam had the most impact on the world. But obviously not in a good way. It can be said that he will make a greater impact dead than alive. I don't support the death penalty, but strongly agree that punishment was needed and that he was a very bad man. I hope that his death will provide an important and much needed turning point for the people of Iraq.

All three of these people had a huge impact on the world in different ways. Some bad, and some great.

Saddam was for bad;killing people just because you didn't like them or what have you didn't make you God. I won't go further;
Gerald Ford was on the Warren Commission to find out what REALLY happened with the JFK assassination; matter of fact, he was the last surviving member when he passed;He did some good there. he also did a real unpopular thing by pardoning Nixon; now at the time, I really felt Nixon should have gotten his, but Ford was looking at the point that the presidency would have been compromised; because of something as the pardon, he saved the country and presidency some anguish; (Of course, Nixon should have just said he done it cause he was the President and that was that, but this is history now)
James Brown. Well in my book, he made a great impact. If it wasn't for Say It Loud I'm Black and I'm Proud, we'd probably still be caught up in that stinking thinking we was into; which is why I call him in addition to his titles- The Restorer of Black Pride; It is hard to believe but callng someone "black" as late as the 1960s was nothing but fighting words; then you have this short, dark brother who came up fighting literally for his(at birth, he almost didn't make it) saying that we are beautiful and we should be proud to say it; that took a whole lot of courage.
Each man in his way made an impact; Saddam for the bad, but Gerald Ford and James Brown for the better good; Gerald Ford made this country stabilize when folks were tired of Nixon and all, so though I'm a sister, I'm going with Ford; James Brown made one, but for a certain segment of the world namely African Americans.

My aunt:)

Joke aside.. negativity has often more impact then the positivity.
Our inner animal wants to see how saddam was executed, we want to enjoy and terrorize our innerself. I didnt expect that this forum will be flooded with such a massive questions about him. There weren't as much clicks when tom and katie or diana got married.

So it is saddam who 'won'.
