No Phil Taylor is the greatest dart player that's ever lived but not sportsman because darts isn't really a sport, its a very skillful game,The greatest British sportsman for me is Sir Steve Redgrave OBE. The greatest British sportswoman in my mind is either Kelly Holmes or Sally Gunnell.

he is p*ss artist that can play darts like that fat Jock from Kirkcaldy (Wilson) he was always on the dole in the pub playing darts while the rest of us were working darts very good hand eye co-ordination what else tell me Now Botham Daley Maradonna

I Can agree about phil tayor being a sportsman.......but greatest...no sorry....daley thompson was in my eyes because of how much he put in to his training.....and competing....he didn`t always win.....but hell he tryed!
