is there some software or some website that can let me enter my dates that bills are due and then i will get an alert on my email to remind me? i have tried yahoo but it works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt.

Quicken has a billminder on their software. Try that!

If you use your Yahoo! Calendar you have to set the reminder near the bottom of the page. Mine always reminds me, without fail. I set mine to remind me about 1 week before the bill is due. With the new version of Yahoo! mail, there is a bar at the bottom of the page that shows all of your upcoming events so I can see the date approaching.

If you use Microsoft Outlook, you can set up reminders in the calendar feature to notify you. That is often how I remind myself to do tasks at work that have future deadlines.
