Absolutely, role playing with dolls is an excellent and productive way for 11 year old to work out issues and situations that are new to her. Also, girls of all ages love to dress themselves up...it's just alot cheaper to do on a Barbie. I am 33 years old with three boys under 7, and I WISH I had somebody to play Barbies with!

My friend is 41. She has a 6 year old and they always play barbies together. My friend has gotten into it so much, sometimes she sneaks them out of her kid's bedroom and plays by herself...so 11 is way to young on this scale.

I played with them until I was 12.I know a 13 yr old who got my scene dolls 4 x-mas

yes playing is okay when you're a kid but concentrate more on school to be an A student in class

yes very normal stay a kid while you can sweetie , my sister is in her 30,s and she still likes them , go ahead and play ,dont listen to other kids saying they dont cause they probally do.
