go to war in Iraq. If Bush is not brought to account for those lies, won't the democratic process be tarnished forever, and consequently the pride and value that Americans hold in democracy will also be lost?

Bush has tarnished the democratic process already. A President's powers are far fewer than Americans realize and Bush has overstepped that authority. He used our fear of terrorism to keep us in line and we sacrificed many freedoms out of fear. Bush's act has worn thin and his ratings are in the toilet. Saddam is dead. Big deal. Osama Bin Laden is still out there laughing his butt off at Bush and his American sheep.

I am much more worried about the tarnishment of the U.S. Supreme Court and the way that that body causes America to lose it's sense of democratic perogotives and responsibilities.

Why haven't more people called for the impeachment of the Supreme Court Justices -- such as the 5 people who helped put Bush into office the first time? Why did the anger over the Bush v. Gore decision fizzle out so soon after it happened?

I'm not a Bush fan myself, but I think your use of the word "lies" does more damage to the democratic process. The administration made mistakes in intelligence analysis. There are always mistakes in analysis. There is some evidence their analysis was biased by tendencies to believe the worst about Hussein, but none that they had strong intelligence to the contrary. There's a lot more evidence that you're a rabblerousing idiot, but I wouldn't call you that without more surety.

The republicans stopped our government over lying about a bj. It certainly makes more sense to go after Bush for lying about wmds. As much as he likes to blame "faulty intelligence" there was even more intelligence out there about 9/11 which he ignored.....the buck stops with him.

Bush did not lie, and has restored credibility to the office of President . Go ask the Kurds that Saddam gassed if Saddam had WMD.
