Wow, you seemed filled with hate. Is the reason that an American can't name one soldier killed because they don't care...as you seem to suggest, or because Saddam's was the leader of a nation and his execution recorded and publicized by every meda outlet on the planet? Not sure what point your trying to make...are you trying to say that Americans don't care or that the media doesn't do a good enough job of eulogizing those that gave their life?

There is that little itsy-bitsy thing known as notifying the family first. Or would you prefer them to find out through a public list?

No, we don't know. Oh BTW, you forgot a Yank who would - the next soldier in line who saw his buddy being killed. I'll bet you he can tell you. So what was your point?

I'll bet you can't name any one of the 25 Iraqis killed in violence in Iraq yesterday.
The reason we know Saddam Hussein's name is that he has been in the papers, prominently, since 1991! It is not because we care more about him than US solders, which is what I'm inferring from your question.

Here are the most recent names released - from the day before yesterday:
28-Dec-2006 5 | US: 4 | UK: 1 | Other: 0
US Corporal Christopher E. Esckelson Al Anbar Province Hostile - hostile fire - small arms fire
US Lance Corporal Nicholas A. Miller Al Anbar Province Hostile - hostile fire
US Lance Corporal William D. Spencer Al Anbar Province Hostile - hostile fire
UK NAME NOT RELEASED YET Basra - Basrah Hostile - hostile fire - IED attack
US NAME NOT RELEASED YET Baghdad (north of) Hostile - hostile fire - IED attack

i in my opinion have never agreed with this war from day one... I agree that we would desire to continuously not have achieved what we did... I listened to Bush's ultimatum to Saddam and knew we've been getting ourselves right into a heap of difficulty.. even inspite of the shown fact that Saddam became not performed for the WMD.. he had a tribulation for war Crimes... he had a tribulation, he became convicted, and became performed all via Iraq... .. we apparently are actually not likely to bypass away the country interior the direction of a civil war.. we are nevertheless there and are going to deliver yet another 20,000+ accessible... yet no I agree what we did to start this war became not ideal.. we would desire to continuously have achieved extra in Afghanistan, we would desire to continuously have went to Pakistan, and we would desire to continuously have endured battling the war against Terrorism on the human beings who truthfully attacked our us of a.. not Saddam....
