I am so sorry for your loss. I have had two miscarriages and so understand your desire to get pregnant again as soon as possible.
Although my periods returned two weeks after I had stopped bleeding from the miscarriage both times, it took a couple of onths for me to start ovulating again the second time. The return of your periods doesn't necessarily mean that you are fertile again.
I would recommend charting your cycles to see when you ae ovulating. Simply take your temperature every morning when you wake up. It will rise when you ovulate (around the middle of your cycle) and will stay higher until your next period. Once released your egg remains viable for fertilisation for just 12-24 hours. Also keep an eye on your mucus, it will become stretchy like egg white as your approach ovulation. Sperm can survive for up to 5 days in this most fertile mucus.
Although your body will recover quickly from the miscarriage, make sure you are emotionally ready for another baby, just in case the worst happens again.
Make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins and good luck!

I also had a miscarriage last week at 5 weeks 3 days. From what I've been reading I should get my period in about 4-6 weeks. The hormone produced by being pregnant must usually be totally out of your body before you can have a normal cycle. I also want to try again immediatly after my first period. Good luck!

I am very sorry to hear about your lose. I had my miscarriage at 6 weeks and I bleed for over a week. Then about 4 weeks later I got my regular period again. I would suggest getting the OK from the Dr. to try again. You do not want to try again to soon and get pregnant, but your body still not be ready. My Dr. gave me the go ahead right away, but everyone's body is different. Good luck to you.

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I miscarried twice, and after both i bled for about 6 days, then my next period came the normal 4 weeks later. I guess it can be different for each woman though, if you normally regular, it should come after 4 weeks. Good luck x x

It takes on average 6 weeks for your cycle to return to normal. Sorry to hear about your news, my best friend was just over 20 weeks and when she went for her check up the babies heart had stopped beating she had to go through a natural labour knowing her little girl was dead. The funeral is in 3 days life is a *****! Better luck to you next time

My period came back after about 8 weeks! But if i was you i would ask my doc. before i got trying again! I had health problems and they told me if i wanted to have another baby to do it right away! But that was after 7 months so my uterus had a time to go back or close enough back to its right size. You want the least strain on the uterus you don't want to worry about not being able to carry the baby to full term! So if you are healthy it will come to you ther is no need to rush!!

Its always different,
I lost one a 5 weeks
another at 6 weeks,
one at 9 weeks and another at 39 weeks
Generally treat your cycle like a normal period,
I'm sorry to hear about your loss,
The pain will get easier when you conceive.
good luck
