I'll bet it's not slipping, but the torque converter keeps unlocking and it feels like it's slipping. That and the light and the high idle mean a bad vacuum leak.

you are positive the tranny is slipping?
High idle ought to calm down it's self as engine warms up. Both problems will trigger the warning light, Get that thing to your mechanic asap. you might to still avoide some big bucks repair bills

Check ,repair or replace all cracked vacuum lines and old 93 should operate correctly.Old fat cow was on it.

yeap. old fat cow is right. intake manifold leaks .may be vaccum hose
