No they actually have quite a strong opinion in the
opposite direction.

And who exactly is doing the job in Afghanistan?
I don't know. But looking at the numbers NATO
provides it pretty much looks like the Europeans
are doing it. And wasn't it those ungrateful Europeans
who provided long range air surveillance for the U.S.
airspace when the monkey decided to divert those
forces to the middle east?

As an American, I don't really care what the Europeans think of how the USA is handling Iraq.
The US will save the world again and clean up the mess. Don't bother to thank us, you never have before.

Its not just Bush that can care less. The day I start allowing European people and governments to dictate the policies of the U.S., hell will have truly frozen over.
I could care less what Europeans think of what I or my nation does. I know its cliche but without the lives of 1000's of American soldiers and the support of the American people, you would all be goose-stepping or living under a communist dictatorship instead of talking smack about my country. Your opinion, while certainly yours to give, means less than nothing to me. So I honestly could care less what you think of our policies.

"Europeans?" Which Europeans are you referring to? The French? Who were accepting bribes from Saddam -- whose country is now over run with Muslims who rioted in Paris? Germany? Who was also taking bribes from Saddam? Or maybe Russia, who, like the other two were taking bribes from Saddam? Heck no! Their gravy train pulled into the station and everyone was ordered off! How about the Spaniards who proved themselves cowards and pulled out at the first sign of "trouble?" Or maybe the Italians -- whose Red Cross was ordered to give aid to known terrorists in a negotiated deal to get back a couple of news reporters who'd been kidnapped? THOSE Europeans? I doubt it.

We know they don't, and Bush could care less. It hurts and puzzles many Americans to see posters like this in Europe

but our government is in the hands of those who spurn criticism and offer in return "you're either with us or you're against us!" That doesn't leave much room for discussion, and for those who disagree, it has an implicit warning about freedom of speech. Bush has told Americans that if you don't support this war "you're on the side of the terrorists," and there are many on Answers who express that same opinion to their fellow citizens. Our country is at a crossroads and, for the first time, we are unsure what direction it will take.

I'm European. I think it is not correct to invade another country because of a simple fact that you need petrol.
Please, imagine an absurd situation: Iraq becomes the biggest power in the World. USA lose its power. They decide to invade USA. They say that the American democracy is bad and that the Americans need to become all Muslims. But the only reason would be the petrol USA has.

No, they are opposed. That's why the US is in there with few allies. We should have listened to other countries.
