Low heart rates often means fetal distress, often they can target the cause and fix it, either in your activities or with medication.
Normal is about 125-140 So youre little guy isnt too far off.
Often at 8 weeks you find that youre not really as far along as you thought. Thats where the ultrasound comes in. It could be that you're a week or two less pregnant than expected. And trust me at 6-7 weeks a low BPM can shoot right up to normal in a week or two, since the heart may have only been beating for a week or less.
At this point, its best to assume the best, and focus on remaining as healthy and pregnant as possible, and wait until your ultrasound to decide how to act and react next. Thats the best thing you can do for you and your baby.

If you are picking her up as soon as she cries, most likely her desire to be held and not knowing how to calm herself and put herself to sleep is keeping her up at night. As long as the doctor gives the all-clear on her heart, the best thing you can do for you, your baby, and your husband is: For several nights pick a time, feed her, change her, and get her ready for bed. The put her in her crib and let her cry it out. You will probably have to do this for about a week, and it will probably drive you insane to fight your instincts to run to your baby, but it will teach her that she is able to fall asleep on her own. After the initial week, bedtime becomes so much more pleasurable. My daughter used to cry unless I was holding her, the doctor recommended doing this. For the first few nights I put her in her crib went into the next room where she couldn't see me and cried right along with her, but did not pick her up. By the end of the week I would lay her in her crib and she would be asleep before I even walked out of the room and I could finally sleep too. It is extremely difficult to do that as a parent, but I don't regret it for a second.

I am so sorry you must be scared! I dont know much about miscarriages but I know that the heart beat should be around the 140 mark. I think that anything under 120 is cause for concern. Lay down and stay on bed rest and I hope and pray that everything will turn out for you. Good Luck and God Bless you!

well that is low but some babies have low ones. all 3 of my cousins were low 120 and she had boys. and my 2 girls and this one I'm carrying is over150 all girls. I might sound dumb to some people but it sounds ok. And the spotting is ok this early I know all 3 times i did too.

Hard to tell at this early stage, but i would just rest as the doc said and, dont do anything that could put you at a higher risk of misscarriage,
good luck and i hope it all works out

Well this does not have to mean anything. It might be low but you can take things easy for awhile if you are at risk. That might be best till you go back to the dr.

If your bleeding stopped and nothing else happened I would say you are likely ok. Be thankful there was a heartrate and dwell on the positive
