We all move about in the world. Such movements regardless of how fleeting require some duration to complete. That is blatantly obvious.
Call it anything you like, but a duration of 'waiting' must take place for all events. Blink your eye, a thought, a handshake, your favorite song, or the duration of 'waiting' that is required to say "I love you".
All takes some amount of waiting....what do YOU want to call it?
:)

Time must exist. It is a law, in a way. I cannot say that it exists because you believe in it and ask about it, because that is the same about Mother Goose, The Tooth Fairy and God. If you believe in God, a simple answer would be: I do believe, I do believe, I do believe, I do believe, therefore time exists. This is like Santa Claus and little kids. They believe in him, and he exists for them. He gives them presents. They witness actions performed by him. Later however, they find out it was their parents who put the presents under the tree. This answer is so logical and so simple that the child accepts it. But for me, an Atheist, believing is not enough. Fortunately, I can observe the idea of time. Time passes by. It is a sort of illusion. It is a law. It cannot be broken in our universe. It is a period or duration. So one can say that in general time is the duration of the universe, or anything. I can measure a second on a stopwatch. What was that second a measure of? Had to be of something. There wouldn't be a way to measure something that does not exist. It must exist. This shall be called time. Days pass by. They can be used to measure and keep track of something. Of time. Time is relative though. But to state that time is relative, there must be time in the first place.

I love this subject and like your question. I'm in a state of flux in regard to what my understanding and opinion are on this. I still believe that time and space are dimensions as the theories go and can't dismiss it. But I'm new to Spirituality. To understand that better I grabbed a book on Buddhism to expand my understanding of their perception of the universe. From that, I have endeavored to find insight on the possibility that time is merely a perception of humans. Based on the size of any living organism, time passes differently for each. There is much I need to find on this and I'm not even ready to postulate my theory yet as I am in the process of investigating the possibilities associated with the concept of a timeless dimension.

There are two distinct views on the meaning of time. One view is that time is part of the fundamental structure of the universe, a dimension in which events occur in sequence. This is the realist view, to which Sir Isaac Newton [1] subscribed, in which time itself is something that can be measured.
A contrasting view is that time is part of the fundamental intellectual structure (together with space and number) within which we sequence events, quantify the duration of events and the intervals between them, and compare the motions of objects. In this view, time does not refer to any kind of entity that "flows", that objects "move through", or that is a "container" for events. This view is in the tradition of Gottfried Leibniz[2] and Immanuel Kant,[3][4] in which time, rather than being an objective thing to be measured, is part of the mental measuring system.

Time is what keeps things in order on this planet. If it wasn't for time, everything would be a mess. With no real time to meet ppl, going to work, school. Although I think ppl take time to seriously and should slow down to enjoy everything around them that's on a time limit too :-)

Yes time exist. If time didn't exist we wouldn't be getting older.
This is just evidence that a God created our universe and it had a beginning. Otherwise time would be infinite, and their would be no present time. How could you ever reach the present if you can't go back infinitlely.

Time does not exist in form. It is a concept (thought) by which human beings guage periods of experiences. Time was invented by us.

Time is a perception, it is different for almost every indavidual. My concept of time and your perception of time could differ by years or nano seconds, now is the only time that we truly have, and it is the Constant.

Time is relative. How you experience time depends upon where you are in the Universe.
