I have a high school teacher and her hubby coming over for snacks and board games tonite, what are good topics of conversation?

Anything you are all interested in, but don't talk about school or students since they are on vacation and that is probably the last thing they want to think about! Be sure to give them plenty to drink, their vacation is almost over and they need to have fun while they can!

Hey, we teachers are human too. We actually drink and cuss, too...if no kids are around! That's the main question...will there be children/students around? Not fun for the teacher, believe me! Other than that, why think they are any different from anyone else. Current events are a good topic!

Make sure that they walk through the metal detector first, then teach them a 'good lesson'. Also, serve 'Shepard's pie and peanut-butter cookies. Older and present day teachers and students know what I'm talking about.

Just because shes a teacher doesnt mean she's any different than any other person, just make small talk until you see what they're in to then just get to know them. You could ask her what she teaches for example and carry on from their.
