Flyleaf is so much better than Evanescence. So are Lacuna Coil & Nightwish. Some other bands you should check out are Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is..., Paramore, The Postal Service, Aiden, AFI, Brand New, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, UnderOATH, and Three Days Grace.

I'm sorry to have to agree with the above response about these bands being very weak and manufactured overall. If you want to listen to a female lead singer, try some old PJ Harvey, Portishead, Sia, etc.
