Lick up and down, of course alternating. I love your random questions, they keep me busy. Can't wait to see the ones you come up with tomorrow. Sometimes I lick more ferociously when it is very good, or when its very hot. Less licking on cold days, and when its gross. But hey all ice cream is good, some just better quality. When the ice cream is all loose and melty, of course, the 'circle twist' is your best bet. No biting for me, I perfer to savor and not hurt my sensitive teeth. LOL.
