I have many recurring dreams that I think I have figured out but 2 of them, Im not sure I understand. If I dream Im near water, if I look at the water, a tidal wave will come... if I dream I see an airplane, and I look at it.. it crashes. These have been dreams Ive had since childhood (Im 30) so I dont think it has to do with recent disasters... anyone have any ideas?

i would say that this sort of dream is a sort of dooms day thinking or failure thinking . when you think about your life are you someone that has failed many times or who has a fear of failure
i think this is just your minds way of dealing with the idea of failure and keeping it in check by using dreams as the place of deep thought about what your underlying feelings are.

Yes, it is possible that disasters caused you dream like that. But it does not mean you dream and you will foresee disasters.

It could also mean there are changes or difficulties in your life. So, in you dream, you will see those bad things happened
