how can I have a best answer I am trying but to no avail?

1. Write something witty and clever that makes people laugh;
2. Write something informative and insightful.
3. Bribe the questioner to vote yours the best answer.

I joined yahoo answers 3 days ago and have had 4 best answers. Answer questions you really do know something about or have the know how to find the answer, phone a friend if you want to as the person asking is asking the audience, Be patient it will come. Happy 2007

I received a "Best Answer" on my first response. I think I earned it due to my knowledge on the subject and the depth and clarity of my response. A number of others had given a similar response before I placed my answer, so that must not have much to do with the ratings. Keep answering... that's what they want.

You're only on Level 1 - have patience. The way the voting system works, it's not your name that comes up, so the person who chooses your answer won't know it's your answer til they've voted for it.

hmmm not sure.. maybe you should try to answer questions first before others. Some people dont give best answers then it goes to vote....you might be a leader

Wait a little bit, in no time you'll see how you'll start building best answers up, they're normally for your most insignificant answers!

Perhaps your not very good at answering questions on trying to conceive....thats the category your in.

You have to answer more then 11 questions. Stick with subjects you know and use google.

answer questions that you know the most about. when i first started yahoo answers, i didnt get a best answer for probally a week, then i got like four best answers every day, then nothing again. i dunno.
