"Over The Hills and Far Away" by Led Zeppelin [from the album "Houses of the Holy"] says "darlin, darlin' darlin' MANY times. perhaps it is that song. Here are some of the lyrics:

Might be (if it's not a ballad) Black Dog by Led Zep. It's off of Zoso, or Led Zeppelin IV. I only have one album, so I'm pretty limited, but if it's a fast rock song, then that could be it. It says 'baby' a fair amount...

Actually it is probably an old Baby's tune that John Waite was the lead singer in. It is off the 1979 album "Falling Backwards" which happens to be the song title you are probably talking about. One of the lines is baby baby baby take me in your arm and love me.
