I try to play AVI file type movies in windows media player 11 but they dont show can someone tell me wat to do

Go to your tools and preferences and choose WinMedia Player to be the Universal Player and accept all filetypes.

Had the same problem. I dont know why. But I used Real Player and it worked for AVI files.

Convert it 2 WMV.

Try VLC player if it doesn't play it nothing will. And its free.
