Where is a good place to go to break up?

It depends on how long you've been together and how serious the relationship has been. If it's not that serious then just call him. If it is though, go out to eat somewhere not too fancy but not fast food and talk about it over dinner. If you think it's going to get ugly though I would just go for a walk.. something like that. Good luck.

Agree with some of the above: definitely have the courage and empathy to make a clean break in person, in a place where there are people nearby for safety but not so close it will embarrass either of you. Find a relatively quiet place to sit and talk down along Crissy Field maybe?

But if it was serious, please don't do it anywhere near the GG Bridge, ok?

A public place with people, for safety, but not too small and not some where really fancy, in case the person reacts really load, you don't want to get embarrassed. A park, or maybe at your parents house?

For cat's sake, I didn't realize that ladies care for the place even to break up?? Well, just try somewhere else quiet and not so far from other people...

Email. That's how one of my exes did it. Very unceremoniously I might add, and I had no clue anything was wrong. He then proceeded to move and shack up with another chick who I had no clue they were dating too.

So really, straight and to the point in email is the best way. No begging or pleading or crying, and no public display. Just do it and get it over with.

I think that you should go somewhere, where your sure you wont see anyone you know. You dont want to imbarrase anyone or humiliate them. Go somewhere where there is people, but ask to be seated somwhere private. Like in a lounge. Good luck!

In bed after sex for the last time. At least the poor guy will have smile on his face when he gets the bad news.
