We know them today but they use pseudonyms…
There are so many different versions of these stories handed down. There is one who says Zeus was married to Dione and had a daughter Aphrodite. There is one that says Venus is Aphrodite. But there is one that says Venus is the daughter of Uranus and Gaia. She is known as the Daughter of Heaven and Sea (Creation)
So if Venus is Uranus daughter and Aphrodite is Zeus’ daughter, they cannot be one in the same!!!!
As far as Zeus goes….
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” 15:2 it's called "the number of his NAME". So the "number" refer to his "name".
We can find original text written in Greek, Latin as well as Hebrew. The Greek alphabet was assigned numerical values (The X gives the Z sound of Xylophone) X (=Chi) 600; Xi (shaped like a curled capital E) 60 and S (Sigma) 6. (Although Sigma is no longer used, it was) Thus 600, 60 and 6 spells XES, the Greek spelling for Zeus. In the KJV translation - where the name of the prophet Elisha (meaning 'My God is Saviour') has been retained in the paganised form 'Eliseus' (My god is Zeus). In similar fashion, the Name of the Hebrew Messiah YAHU'SHUAH (meaning 'YAHU is Saviour') has been paganised to read 'JeZeus', ('God is Zeus') which later became 'Jesus' in the English language (pronounced 'Jezus').
600 (X), 60 (Xi,=E), 6 (S) the number of his name, clearly spells XES the original Greek spelling for ZEUS.
And if Zeus is Satan, then could Hephaestus be the Devil?
In the Bible they say Two beasts, Satan was known as the dragon… “they worshiped the Dragon because he gave his authority to the Beast” “Then I saw another Beast coming up out of the Earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a Dragon”
The mark of Satan is 666, while the Devil’s mark is the cloven foot. So maybe the abomination Hephaestus is the Devil.
Maybe mythology is based on some truths that were misconstrued over time…
Below is a verse which talks about people worshipping the planet Venus as the "Queen of Heaven."
Jeremiah 44:17 (NIV) "We will certainly do everything we said we would: We will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and will pour out drink offerings to her just as we and our fathers, our kings and our officials did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. At that time we had plenty of food and were well off and suffered no harm." …And there are those who claim that it's referring to Venus, Asherah, Ashtoreth, Ishtar, or Isis. They are all the same person. Venus is equivalent to the Egyptian Goddess Isis, the Phoenician Astarte and the Babylonian Ishtar. Venus is known as the Daughter of Heaven and Sea.
Hidden proofs that Zeus is Satan aka Adam and Venus is Eve aka Isis.

Isis is in grid layouts and in bas-relief sculptures of Greek and Roman gods and goddesses from one end of town to the other. So as you see from the statement above, Satan’s first child is Cain, which means Satan is Adam who was Zeus. And Eve (Venus) was Isis the Madonna and Child.
And I think it’s about high time she was forgiven for eating that apple!
If you asked me Satan aka Adam lied and it was he who was the evil one.

It certainly would explain a lot of things that happened way back when, wouldn't it?
Where did they get the technology to do what they did back then if they didn't have some kind of outside influence like possibly "alien beings". And given the fact that it was in a time when communication from one generation to another was many times done in metaphors and symbolism, it wouldn't be out of the question that the aliens would appear as "gods".
Interesting hypothesis, anyway.

Years ago some interesting books were written by Erich Von Daniken about the Gods probably being Astronauts landed on this planet thousands of years ago.
They pose some interesting questions.

I believe this is highly possible.
Think of primitive cultures in the past.....anyone with technology was considered gods....if a being was intelligent enough to make space travel when earth was just getting going...there is no doubt they would be considered gods and goddesses!!

the fact that some believe that They arent is up to them.but in alot of ppl's minds they are.and They are still worshipped highly today as spirits that help our lives in need.
