Do you think it's better to save or to spend? I mean, if, for example, you win $100 in a contest, is it better to spend it on what you want or save it for an emergency?

I always like to keep a little money on hand, but I have to admit I am a spender more then a saver. If there is something I want or need I will save for it, but other wise what is the point. Now don't get me wrong that does not mean go out and spend all your money. Be responsible, have money to pay your bills and a little extra to fall back on. But something like winning a contest if this was extra money then I say spend it. It was a prize after all.

I would probably save part of it and spend part of it. There's nothing wrong with treating yourself, but you don't want to treat yourself to the extent that you don't have a reserve of money when you need it.
