Girls only!!!! Period question!!!!!!!!!!?

I am going on holidays next week and my period is due. What can I do to stop blood getting on my bed and my sheets and sleeping bag? Coz it would be heapz embarrassing if I had to ask someone to wash it for me and they saw blood on it.

Try waking yourself up once in the night to go to the restroom. Wear a thicker pad too. Try not to sleep on your back because sometimes thats when accidents happen.
I was ten and at camp when I started my period for the first time lol I had to learn a lot of things the hard way :)
