its a conspiracy to make us think its a conspiracy

There is a simple explanation for the famous "alien spacecraft crash" at Roswell NM. During the second world war, the German air force (the Luftwaffe) developed a small rocket powered airplane called the ME-163, or the "Comet." The Comet was built very lightly of plywood and aluminized fabric, so as to conserve metals and save money on its construction. It was propelled by a simple liquid fueled rocket engine that used Potassium Permanganate and Hydrogen Peroxide as fuels.

These were very dangerous fuels, as they had a tendency to start spontaneous combustion with each other and with most organic substances, including the pilot, in case of an accident.

Still, the ME-163 represented cutting edge technology, and easily set speed and altitude records in Germany before the end of the war. The planned use was for shooting down allied bombers by climbing very rapidly to great altitudes and diving on the bombers to shoot them down with machine guns. The Comet would then glide back to its base.

A number of Comets existed on Luftwaffe air bases at the end of the war, and the United States Army Air Corps brought them back to the united states to use for research and to keep them out of the hands of the Soviets.

These small aircraft were stored at Roswell because of its remote location, and some experimental flights were made. The "incident at Roswell" consists of nothing more nor less than the crash of one of these little airplanes during a research flight.

Some local people and some uninformed military people saw the wrecked airplane before the Air Force could remove the wreckage. The sketches that people made are fully consistent with the appearance of parts of the ME-163. Descriptions of "aluminum-like" materials refers to the aluminized fabric that was the outer skin of the ME-163.

The pilot was badly burned and his body may have been scattered.

There is no mystery at all about this incident, except the reason why the Air Force has continued to conceal the fact that they experimented with the ME-163s at that time.

The video of the "autopsy" performed on an "alien crewmember" is ridiculous, and very amateurishly made. It has nothing whatever to do with the facts in this case.

The overwhelming weight of scientific logic and historical evidence both weigh against the idea that sentient beings from other worlds ever have or ever could visit us here. The distances involved are just too great to make it possible.

And if they had come here, what makes people think that the government that protected New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina is capable of successfully concealing their actions?

First off, anyone who tells you interstellar travel is *impossible* needs to learn a little about scientific progress after 1940.

What *is* impossible is for anything with MASS to ACCELERATE to the Speed of Light. Since mass increases and become infinite at the speed of light.

Options exist that are not out of the realm of scientific possibility, althought they are mostly way outside the realm of anything we can hope to acheive soon, there is no reason to believe relativity can be gotten around.

The Possiblity of an Einstien-Rosen Bridge or 'Wormhole' isn't out of the question. It's also important to note that accelerating to or past the speed of light is impossible, but if you were to gain that speed instantaniously, you preclude acceleration.

It is also theoreticaly possible to warp space around you in such a way that space in front of you is contracted rapidly and behind you expanded. That will get you past C, as well. It is also possible that Galaxys more distant than 14 Billion Lightyears are bending space in this way and we are moving appart past C, which is not nomraly possible under the rules of special relativity.

Not to say that any of this is possible or even the way by which we get from Point A to Point B faster than a photon, assuming we ever do. But I find the assumption that it's not going to ever happen Galacticly stupid.

I don't know what happened in Roswell. The Government is lieing about something, but they lie about a lot of things and we will likely never know what really happened. It's a distraction and not an important one.

If you want to be pissed at the Government, there are much better reasons right here on Earth.

I think something crashed at roswell. I'm not sure if it was top secret technology made by humans or if it came from somewhere else. I do think the U.S government is hiding things from the people, and truthfully we may never find out the real story.
I do believe interstellar travel is possible, but were looking at the problem in a primative way.
And there is aliens out there, which are more intelligent than us. Whos to say that they haven't unlocked the secrets of the universe...

No. The concept of alien visitors from outer space doesn't make any sense if you apply a few simply laws of physics.

Consider that the fastest speed anything can travel is the speed of light. Actually, that's not a correct statement because at the speed of light, an object reaches infinite mass which can't happen. So the fastest anything can travel is just under the speed of light.

Now consider that it takes light hundreds of years to get from a different location in the universe to where we are now. So by travelling just under the speed of light, it would actually take longer to get from there to here. You're talking about 500 or so years roundtrip.

In the time that it takes to get from point A to point B, any of the research or information that they could get from visiting Earth would be rendered completely useless with the technological advances that their society had made in the traveller's 500 year absence.

Of course it was real. Stanton Friedman, who is an accomplished nuclear physicist in his own right has spent several decades researching Roswell. He has offered to debate anyone the Air Force cares to put up, but as yet, no takers. Why you ask?? Because Stanton knows all the facts.
Another reason is that at the time, Flying Saucers hadn't yet entered the public consciousness. Here you have a bunch a rural people, many farmers, etc. all living in a quiet community and then they all suddenly decide to make a mass lie to deceive people?? I think not.
Something crashed there, the government tried to cover it up. They have spent many years spreading disinformation and discrediting people who say that it was real.
If you really want to find out more about it, I suggest visiting Stanton Friedman's website and reading about his research into this matter.

Everyone seems to agree that something happened, the disagreement seems to be what. The History Channel had a very good program on Roswell - unfortunately, it generated more questions than it answered. If it was a "mongol" balloon as they say, why maintain the secrecy for 50+ years? Why are documents about Roswell still censored when released? Seems so un-necessary.

Yes I think a UFO crashed and they tried to cover it up. Many years ago my youngest brother was coming home from work near Nashville. He was on a bus with all the construction workers from his job. He said a UFO stopped in the middle of the road and all the traffic on both sides of the road came to a dead stop for several minutes. When it flew off all the cars started again as if nothing happened. That was many years ago and he still talks about it from time to time. NO I'm not a quack and neither is he.

Aliens did not crash in Roswell but there was a governmental coverup. What it actually was was a top-secret high altitude balloon launched by the U.S. to monitor Soviet nuclear tests. The project wasn't declassified until the '80s.

No. Aliens haven't visited Earth. If there is a conspiracy, it has nothing to do with aliens.

No its not real. Based on everything we know today, interstellar travel is impossible hence it is impossible for aliens to have landed on earth.
