Well for starters you already know you're going to get your period soon from the way you worded your question so just be extra prepared.
Nowadays guys already know about this stuff and really don't care if a girl is on her period or not. I am not saying they are completely insensitive but most of the times boys who are old enough to know what one is and what it does to a girl are old enough not to think its okay to make goofy comments about it.
You still have a right to be embarassed about your period, especially if you're a young girl. So don't let anyone make you feel guilty for being a little shy about what's going on in your body. We've all been there as women.
Do you wear tampons? If so those tend to be small enough to hide in your pockets, your socks, or even in a tiny purse. Bring a purse along on vacation with you and keep enough tampons or pads stashed away in there and just bring your purse everywhere with you so that it won't be so obvious if you snatch up your purse on the way to use the bathroom.
If you can't have a small purse with you everywhere and you feel your period is coming keep a tampon or two in each of your socks before you put your shoes on. That way when you go to the restroom just pull your sock down and reacdh in for a tampon.
If you wear pads or prefer pads you're going to have to either make it obvious or carry a small purse around. It will be even more obvious when you have blood on your pants if you don't do something to keep the blood off of you.
Good luck and have fun! I hope this helps, hon.

If you can carry a small purse with a strap or wear a thinner pad around the time you are to come on. Other then that your a girl/woman and this is natural screw who knows. Better to go and get a pad then to have nothing at all. Good Luck!

you could always wear a jacket or hoddie with big pockets and carry your pads inside. or you could carry a purse. also, don't be embarrased. it happens to all girls. most boys know what a period is and they don't even really care. or if you have to go back to the caravan just say you forgot your hairbrush or make up. no biggie!!

you will learn soon enough, that every woman gets their period, and it really is no big deal. (my husband buys my tampons). But like everyone else said, at least carry a panty liner in your pocket (cant get much smaller) and the rest in a bag should you need it. But really, you shouldnt worry, because you are in the same boat as millions of other woman, and if someone makes you feel ashamed about having your period, then they are childish and dont understand that yes, we hate getting it, but there is nothing to do about it.

Keep a small backpack or purse with you at all times. And put your pad in there. You could also put it in a sock in the bag, so it's less obvious. And then put a water bottle and a snack in there too.

carry ob tampons in your pocket. the kind without applicators. they're small and discreet. you can carry them anywhere and nobody will know. that's how i survived while traveling.
if you need to use pads, keep one in your back pocket or jacket pocket. they make 'em really thin these days so they're easier to pack around.

Be prepared and bring pads/tampons along. If you know you're getting it then it shouldn't be a huge surprise.

Keep a pad on your person at all times if possible, that way you are prepared if it does happen.
