My oldest was 14 months old when he got teeth. Getting teeth late is not a developmental delay. Just enjoy those toothless grins.

They say the longer it takes teeth to grow in the stronger they will be. My child had her teeth come in just over a year old. I was in the process of considering surgery for the cutting of her gums with a dentist when her first tooth finally broke through. Some kids just take longer I guess. To this day her teeth are much stronger then mine and this is a good thing :-)

Oh, I wouldn't worry about it at all! There is a huge variety in what can be considered "normal" for babies...even if it does make parents lose sleep at night! :o)
I had a son who cut his molars at 9 months! Poor little baby was shoving his fist in his mouth to try to make his little gums feel better! Then those teeth went back down and he had to cut them again at age 2!
A friend of mine has 3 kids and none of them had any teeth at all until they were 14 months old! The bad thing is they were walking and needed lots of energy and it was difficult to get them full on the smooth baby food! But they got their teeth eventually and no worries!
If you're really worried, ask the doc at your next well baby checkup. I'm sure he's fine! Best wishes!!

Just enjoy not having to worry about teeth during breastfeeding !
My daughter is almost 10 months old and still no teeth ! Her gums handle mashed food fine.
It's not as though you see lots of 2 year olds walking around with no teeth.

I have three children and my middle one didnt cut a tooth till he was 11 months old. His sister had her first tooth at 7 months. I am sure all is right, you just tend to hear more about babies that do things early than the ones that tend to take their time. My son didnt walk till he was 13 months old as he would just point and his big sister would run and get what he wanted. Why do the work yourself when you can get someone to do it for you. My son is now 16 and quite normal although he will still delegate if possible and get out of doing it himself.

My son didn't get teeth until he was over a year. I wouldn't worry too much. Dentist's say the later the teeth the healthier the mouth.

There is no average age for tooth eruption. Anytime before 18 months works out just fine.
I would not worry to much unless you have no teeth by then, then you might want to have a pediatric dentist look in your son's mouth.

It's really normal, don't worry about him. It depends if he was born premature, if his mother drank a lot of milk or no milk in her pregnancy. If the mother did not drink a lot of milk, then he will take more time than the other children because of his lack of calcium. But in conclusion, he will be fine, his teeth will grow sooner or later.
