I watched the whole movie and was a bit confused on and off...what really happened, what was a dream, they kept switching back and forth..but no problem... but......in one part, which really confuses me...is...it almost appeared like john may have molested his daughter.... and that (the trauma of) is possibly what brang on all of this poltergeist phenomena... did anyone else get this?

also: the mother actually killed the father with the medicine right?

Yes! I thought at the end that the father was raping his daughter. At the end, when the girl leaves with her father, the way she looks at her mother, the mother just *knows* that she is being molested at well.
