personaly i like the 8125 better as it IS a smartphone where the BB isn't. the correct defination of a smart phone is phone that runs of of windows or symbian mobile which the 8125 does. the biggest thing about the 8125 i like best is the memory and the speed and the phone when online. the pearl is nice but the suretype is not for me. the pearl also has had some problems with the exterior peeling off as well and wont look as good over time. the con to the 8125 however is that the slider feature is known to get weak after repeaded use and the screen is more likely to break. the big question is what are u going to use it for? if you are a realator i would say stick with the bb as it is compatable with the mls lock box where the 8125 isn't. the BB also is not known to pick up very good signal so it wont be great as a phone either and yet you will still either want to use a bluetooth with an 8125 to use it as a phone due to the size. the biggest plus with the 8125 is that you can open, edit and save alsmost any type of microsoft office application where the BB you can open most but not all and VERY rarely edit or save any microsoft application of the BB.

If you want to install applications, games and a business user, I would highly recommend the 8125. Blackberry are typically for people who are only e-mail and text messengers.

The fact that the 8125 is a Windows-based platform, it is a more versatile phone. It's a little slower than the BlackBerry, but I love the stylus and the large variety of apps for it.
