I'm not mad at anybody because I know I'm going to die, I'm just afraid of what is after death and where I will be....I dread the moment my soul leaves my body and I will no longer be able to hug, kiss, and spend time with the people I love.

Everyone is put on this earth to live, and some to reproduce. Each one of us born on this earth is here for a purpose. When our mission is accomplished we leave our earthly bodies behind and pass on or over. We then live a very spiritual life that is unlike here on this earth. Much better then we can comprehend. Kind of gives you something to look forward to now doesn't it. Cheer up and enjoy the life you have now. Life is what you make it. It can be good and happy or you can continue to have morbid thoughts and be miserable.

Ok... You added your "Added Details" as I was answering your question. So.... Here is and "Added Detail" to my answer and your "Added Detail" -lol-..... When we do pass on or over, we will be reunited with our loved ones that has passed before us. We will have the opportunity to join with them and prepare for the reunion with those we left behind. I surely do hope this eases your mind. I am hoping you will enjoy this life and your loved ones with peace of mind knowing you will not be permanently separated.

I know what you mean. It would seem much easier to bypass the fuss and mess or being born and dying by simply leaving the universe alone in a state of non existence. But that's not the case so here we are. Taoist thought explores the idea of life and death as two sides of the same coin. There are some poetic mystical essays written by Chuang Tzu (search term) that I find meaningful in relation to questions such as yours. There is also Nihilism, which I would not recommend.

To give glory to the Lord. If we were born with no purpose, would you even bother to continue living? A lot of people wouldn't, and when they can't find a purpose, they just give up on life and end it. Fact is, everyone wants to feel needed or wanted. Sorry if I was rambling, I just wanted to say it.

Have a nice day :-)

This is just a temporary site before we move on to our final home. You have to remember our souls are immortal even though we die in this world.

You know personally I think that we are born to live our lives to the fullest and then when we die we either go to Heaven ( or that other place) or we are Reborn again. Maybe that's way they say each time a person is born someone dies.

i believe we are born and reborn and reborn etc., until be reach perfection. after the life where we've mastered this goal, when we die we go to heaven to live eternally with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
for this reason, i don't fear death. it sort of makes me at peace with the fact that i've tried to live a life with as much perfection as possible. if i'm judged to be a non-perfect soul-----i'll be back!

we are born so we can live our life. While we live we are supposed to be good and do good things so we can go to Heaven when we die. I suggest that you go read The Holy Bible if you need any more information, because that will explain everything you will ever need to know.

The question of the ages....

this question encompasses the very essence of our existance, and proves we are spiritual beings rather than evolved microbes.

We are born to the glory of God, and we will die because Adam ate of the tree of good and evil.

we are born so that we will learn that all things have a lifespan. It is the nature of the cosmos. Weather the greatest galaxy in the universe or the most insignifigant human on earth, we are all dealt the same fate - a day of creation and a day of demise.

Well, i beleive that God created us so that we could LIVE. it's says in the bible that we were made to worship and glorify the Lord. But we have to die because we have sin in our lives.

"But if we believe in him, we will have everlasting life." John 3:16

Which means, we don't really die. We just leave our place on earth and join our Heavenly Father in Heaven.
