After Sadams highly pubisized execution many are raising the question "Is capital punishment in itself cruel and unusual?"
What is your decision and why do you feel this way?

i think many times they prove somebody was innocent after 20 years in prison, so I guess I'm against it

In the case of Saddam and in the USA many of the killers that getit, I really wish it was very cruel and very unusual. IMHO people that whine about slimebags getting put to death should have to live with them for a year, if they would even survive a year.

I believe capital punishment should be reserved for serial killers.
Saddam would qualify after all the deaths he ordered, including
members of his own family. Life is precious, but not everyone deserves to live-those who take the lives of innocents definitely
do not.

Totally against it. The Bible says ,Judge not least ye be judged. It is not human.I believe in total solitary convinement until they die a natural death. Than let God
punish him.Capital punishment is not our duty to do.
It is God's decision and always will be.

i norm don't agree with the death penalty but i do think he got what he deserved! this man was MONSTER he used to take great pride in the arts of torture. some of his favs were shoving a hose with wires in it up people rectum and castrating men.he also liked to hang people upside down then beat them with hoses especially on the bottom of their feet. this man used to take his kids to watch this also. there was only one punishment this monster could get was death but the death penalty should be held just for monsters like this man

I'm "eye for an eye" philosophically.

The bastard got off easy.

Should of let the surviving family of those that died because of him get to exact justice as they see fit.

Like I have said before, in practice it is very cruel. Everyone deserves a good death, but it shouldn't be a government that selects who to kill and how. It isn't right.
